Philodendron Verrucosum X Giganteum is an extremely fast growing and impossible to kill hybrid between a Verrucosum # 1 and a Philodendron Giganteum. This is an interesting specimen which appears to take after the Giganteum lineage a little more than the Verrucosum. If I had to guess, I would speculate it is about 70% Giganteum and 30% Verrucosum in regards to its growth pattern and characteristics. The leaf shape is elongated and more vascular than the giganteum and wider, larger and less dark than a verrucosum. This plant also creeps and climbs instead of bunching up like a giganteum. I really like this plant because it is a unique hybrid and it is not possible to kill this plant unless you intend to do so, anyone can grow this plant from beginner to expert. You will receive a similar sized / maturity plant just like the plant in the photos.
